I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I had them help me twice, first during a remodel in 2000 and another time when we added 750 sq. ft. to our existing house in 2016.

I am an IT guy so I know a lot about what I want done. No matter what I asked Steve and Paul to do, they figured out a way to make it happen within my budget. I had them run a ton of Cat-5E cable back in 2000 and 36 more drops of Cat-6 cable in 2016. These guys are pros and they do an awesome job. They aren't the cheapest I'm sure, but after I had two other AV companies come out to quote on the 750 sq. ft. extension and heard nothing back, I went with Sound Ideas. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. The other guys did come out and listened to my requirements, but they probably thought I was nuts asking for too much work and detail. For example, I had Paul install 5 LCD big screen TVs mounted to the wall with 3 ethernet drops each. 3 - 50" TVs were for my triplets' Xbox Ones. Steve and Paul listened to everything I asked for and completed the job to my 100% satisfaction.

Paul and Mike created the perfect sound system for my home! I had challenging needs with trying to connect a turntable, wireless devices and an existing outdoor system into one sound system. They spent a lot of time listening to my needs, then came up with creative solutions to accomplish the job. Paul did the installation, he was so professional and patient while navigating wiring and equipment through walls and ceilings in my old home. Before leaving, he also took the time to teach me how to use the new sound system and related apps. Thanks to Sound Ideas, they have transformed my experience in my home with an amazing sound system. In 2010 the Sound Ideas team installed a whole house sound system in our Rancho Bernardo home. They did a great job and we have greatly enjoyed the wide array of things it can provide via the internet and from our own sound equipment.
But what is most impressive is that 4 years later they are still willing and able to help with questions in support of their system. Just today, after I had to remove some cabling for a flooring project and made errors in re-connecting, Sound Ideas was gladly willing to walk me through the issue and it was fixed in 10 minutes.

I want to take a moment to express our appreciation for another enjoyable experience with you and the rest of the team at Sound Ideas. Once again, we were very impressed with the attention to detail and patience that we received from everyone and particularly the 'TLC' that you provided. Also, it never ceased to amaze us how well everything was coordinated from the planning sessions all the way through the installation phase and ultimately the follow up and walk through/training process...talk about patience!
Of course, we were especially pleased with how organized and 'tidy' the team left our home at the end of each work day; especially given how obsessive I am on that issue. Knowing that the project was on signature and within the budget was very comforting, and I believe that one of the strongest attributes that your company possesses is the ability to problem solve in the best interest of the client...and that would be me and my wallet.

It's hard to believe that it has been 14 years since you designed and installed the audio/video system in the house on Las Colinas. Needless to say, I am sorry that you did not do the original design and installation on the house we built 4 years ago.
I just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the work that Sound Ideas has done in this house to upgrade the audio/video system, the control, system and the home theater. We are very pleased with everything. The theater .looks great. We love the new projector and the Kaleidescape movie system.
The biggest improvement is the control system. It’s great to be able to go from room to room and have everything operate the same. The touch screens are easy to use and you met my most important goal of anyone being able to operate the system. You have made it both 'sophisticated' and 'intuitive'.
You did a great job designing everything and planning the installation. To my surprise, you were able to work around the fact that we had the existing installation with its own wiring with minimal additional expense. Just about everything went smoothly.
As you know, we were living in the house while the installation was going on and the installers were especially sensitive to our privacy. They worked neatly, quietly, professionally, and efficiently.

We have found it a pleasure working with you and your able crew. You have all been highly responsive to our needs and our questions. Undoubtedly we will have a few more queries as we delve into the many capabilities of this dream system. Over the years, I watched you and your skilled team successfully install high quality audio/video systems into the homes of many of my clients. These clients could well afford the finest equipment, and they expected impeccable service. Always you delivered as promised, on time, and without complications.
Recently l decided to install some of today's technology into my own home. As you have learned, I am extraordinarily demanding. I always want to insure that my client's expectations are more than satisfied. It was no different when my own home was the subject- I also wanted excellence.

Sound Ideas, Inc. installed an electronic entertainment system in our home. All of the work was satisfactorily completed on time and within budget.
